Beach Bungalow, Aberdesach, North Wales

Three-bedroom bungalow on the Lleyn Peninsula, near Caernarfon

North Wales is renowned for its wonderful scenery and places of unspoilt beauty, none more so than the Lleyn Peninsula, designated an area of outstanding and natural beauty within the Snowdonia National Park.

LOCATION
'Niwl-y-Mynydd' (roughly translated as 'mist on the mountain') is situated directly on the unspoilt beach at Aberdesach on the Lleyn Peninsula, 8 miles from Caernarfon and 11 miles from Pwllheli.

ACCOMMODATION
The deceptively-spacious accommodation sleeps up to six people and comprises sitting room, dining room, kitchen, three double bedrooms and shower room. It is carpeted throughout except for the kitchen and shower room.

The Sitting Room (front overlooking the beach) is comfortably furnished with cane sofa and two easy chairs, a further cane chair, coffee table and colour, remote control television and night storage heater. Two windows give wonderful views of the beach and the Eifl Mountains.

The Dining Room (rear overlooking garden) has large pine table, six farmhouse chairs with matching Welsh dresser equipped with Portmeirion 'Botanic Garden' tableware (a full set of white tableware is also provided). There is also a night storage heater.

Bedroom 1 (front overlooking the beach) has a double bed, three-drawer chest and chair and portable heater.

Bedroom 2 (front overlooking the beach) has full-size twin beds, double wardrobe, three-drawer chest, chair and portable heater.

Bedroom 3 (rear overlooking garden) has a hand basin, double bed, large fitted wardrobe, three-drawer chest, chair and portable heater.

The galley kitchen is fully fitted, with electric cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, spin-dryer, iron and ironing board. A cupboard houses the hot water tank and small drying area.

The shower room has toilet, hand basin, electric shower and mirrored cabinet.

The elevated rear garden backs on to fields. A table and chairs is provided for outside eating.

Because of its unique beach location, access is along a footpath and cars are parked 140m from the bungalow on a small green, which is overlooked by other bungalows. 'Niwl-y-Mynydd', although ideally situated, is not isolated since there are sixteen other properties on the beach. A well-behaved dog is welcome.

TARIFF
Niwl-y-Mynydd is available from Spring 'til late Autumn. The tariff ranges from £245 to £510 per week 2008 : please refer to Calendar 2008. Please see the Contact Us page for further details.
